The Denon ASD-51W iPod dock needs to be hooked-up to an existing hi-fi via a set of cables. It then enables you to stream music from a PC. Mac - via a UPnP client - or home server. The sound quality is dependent upon your hi-fi's sonic capabilities, but streaming is quick and seamless. You can also connect the ASD-51W to a TV so that you can view videos and photos stored on your computer.
This is a solid, if overpriced, way to add Wi-Fi streaming and iPod compatibility to your existing setup. A serious bit of kit.
