For iPod Streaming
Instead of docking your iPod with the PDX-50 you attach a wireless dongle which beams music to the beefy 30W speaker system. You can't move the iPod more than four to five metres away from the main unit or the signal will drop, and you' ll have to dock your 'iPod with the main unit to charge, but changing tracks and tweaking the volume using your iPod/iPhone instead of a separate remote makes it a convenient option.
However, with your iPod's stored tunes offering the only audio source, the PDK-50's uses are limited.
